Peachland

A charming Okanagan lakeside village — where the peach orchards meet the turquoise waters of Okanagan Lake.

Peachland is a small municipality on the west shore of Okanagan Lake, about 25 kilometres south of Kelowna, that has retained the character of a genuine Okanagan orchard town while developing a vibrant arts and tourism scene. The community stretches along a narrow strip of lakefront between the water and the steep benchlands above, giving it a compact, walkable character that makes it one of the most pleasant communities in the Okanagan. The Peachland waterfront is the heart of community life. The beach, marina, and waterfront park provide a beautiful setting for swimming, boating, and simply enjoying the extraordinary views across Okanagan Lake to the mountains on the far shore. The Heritage Walk along the waterfront connects the beach to the historic downtown, passing heritage buildings that tell the story of Peachland's development as an orchard community. The benchlands above Peachland are planted with orchards and vineyards that produce exceptional fruit and wine. The Peachland wine trail includes several excellent wineries, and the roadside fruit stands that line the highway through town are a beloved Okanagan tradition. The Bliss Bakery and Café is a local institution that draws visitors from across the Okanagan for its exceptional baked goods. The Hardy Falls Regional Park, just north of Peachland, is a beautiful short hike to a waterfall on Trepanier Creek, and the network of trails on the benchlands above town provides excellent hiking and mountain biking with panoramic lake views.
