How the stamp card program works
Guest books through StayBC
Guest calls or books via staybc.ca and receives a unique booking code (SBC-XXXXX) by email.
You hand them a card at check-in
Give the guest an Explorer Loyalty Card. They write their name on it. You write their SBC booking code in the first stamp box.
Stamp once per night
Use your StayBC rubber stamp to stamp the circle in each box — one stamp per night stayed. Only stamp boxes that have a booking code written in them.
Guest earns a $25 credit at 8 stamps
When the card is full, the guest redeems it at staybc.ca. StayBC verifies the booking codes and reimburses you the $25 — you never pay out of pocket.
The one rule that protects everyone
Only stamp a box when the guest has a StayBC booking code written in it. No code = no stamp. This keeps the program honest — guests who book direct without StayBC don't earn stamps, so you're never rewarding a booking you didn't get commission credit for.

Script: If a guest asks you to stamp a card without a booking code, politely explain that stamps are only for StayBC bookings. Direct them to staybc.ca to book their next stay and start earning.
How reimbursement works
When a guest redeems a full 8-stamp card, StayBC verifies all 8 booking codes on the card. If they all check out, StayBC sends you a $25 reimbursement — either as a credit against future commission invoices or by e-transfer. You never pay the $25 yourself.
Note: Cards with missing or invalid booking codes are not reimbursed. This is why the booking code field matters.
